The following data formats are accepted for import into our Map tool:
KML is a file format used to display geographic data in an earth browser, such as Google Earth, Google Maps, and Google Maps for mobile. A KML file is processed in much the same way that HTML (and XML) files are processed by web browsers. Many mapping tools allow you to save your map / route as a KML file. KMZ file is just the 'zipped', or compressed, version of the KML.
Follow these steps to download a KML/KMZ data file into MapMyRun.com:

Follow the same steps as above but select Gmap-Pedometer.com as the Data Source. The Route number can be found by looking at your link
For example, if your link to your Gmap-Pedometer.com Route is: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=475949 then your Route Number is 475949.
